Supervised Research
You can choose to pursue research as a 3-credit course, working on a project under the direct supervision of a program faculty member, or through an external organization. Planning must begin as early in your degree process as possible, as it can take time to design a project. Start thinking!

How do I begin?
Email Director Susan Underkoffler at sunderkoffler@ufl.edu and Dr. Hayley Adams at hayleyradams@ufl.edu with your ideas. They will then set up a time for a Zoom call to discuss. For your project, consider time requirements, location, and project execution. Will you need outside resources? Lab space? External funding? These factors all need to be considered. Program faculty will advise, but you will need to be proactive and responsible for carrying out the work. Put all of this information in your email. Faculty can assist with research design, facilitating resources and final publication.
